How To Keep Your Teeth Free From Cavity

We all have the right to smile without hesitation so in order to do this, protect you teeth from cavities! Most of the people lose their self confidence because of their decayed teeth. The cavity on their teeth becomes a hindrance to boost their confidence.

Here are some tips to continue showing your beautiful smile to others:

   ·  Brush your teeth at least twice a day, many people thought that brushing your teeth at least twice a day is not really important. Well, no! Brushing your teeth is actually the best way to avoid cavities because it maintains the cleanliness not only of your teeth but also your gums to keep them healthy.

   ·   Use dental floss every after eating, of course after you eat, there are some particles left in the space between your teeth. You should always remove them as early as possible before it can cause cavity.

·         Keep your tools clean, after you using your tooth brush, make sure that the place where you will put it is clean because germs or bacteria might fall on your equipment.

·         Balance your sweet foods eating, if you are a sweet foods eater, better to lessen your eating habit of sweets. Aside from it can make you fat, it can also cause you a cavity if you will not take good care of your teeth. Especially referring to kids, kids love candies, chocolates, cakes, etc. If you have this kind of kid, better to impose him/her to brush his/her teeth regularly. Better yet, do not allow them to eat sweets.

·         Consult your doctor frequently; it is always the best to see your doctor oftentimes. Through this, your teeth will be checked and your doctor can cure your teeth before it meets cavity.

What are to avoid?
·         Sweet foods – like I said, candies and any other sweet foods are making your teeth prone to cavity. We must avoid eating sweets as much as possible but if you are a sweet foods eater, make sure that you brush your teeth after eating.

·         Eating midnight snacks – people love to eat in the middle of the night before sleeping. So they always forgot to brush their teeth before going to bed. Did you know that all the foods and drinks you intake produces bacteria that attacks your teeth for a minimum of 20 minutes? While you are sleeping, you didn’t notice that cavities gradually eat your teeth.

·         Smoking is strictly prohibited – smoking has a big role about growing your cavities up. This has something to do with the gum disease that can make your teeth decay and/ or becomes yellowish as you smoke

Eating is fun and good to our health but we should keep in mind that our teeth are very important. Through our teeth, we can smile with confidence and through our smile; we can make other people happy.
